Tec Trimix Diver Course

Ready for the outer edge of technical diving? The Tec Trimix Diver course takes experienced tec divers and turns them into extreme divers who go deeper and visit pristine sites where few others will ever go. During the course, you’ll make dives as deep as 300 feet, but once you earn this tough certification, there are few limits. Your training teaches you to build experience gradually and you do it because you’ve made it this far and have more exploring to do.

• Be a PADI Tec 50 or PADI Tec 65 Diver (or equivalent)
• 18 years old
• 150 logged dives
• Current Medical signed by physician within last 12 months

The Tec Trimix Diver course emphasizes mission application:

• Gas selection options, especially deco gases
• Bubble models and deep stops
• Using multigas trimix computers
• Handling up to four stage/deco cylinders
  
  

• Backmount or sidemounted twin cylinders that are oxygen clean, with harness and wing
• (2) AL40s oxygen clean cylinders with regulators
• (2) Computers or bottom timers
• Exposure suit appropriate for cold water diving
• Reel and liftbag or dsmb
• (2) Cutting devices
• Slate
• Compass
• (2) Lights
• Backup bouyancy device (drysuit, liftbag, or dual bladder wing)
• Backup mask

This course requires a weekend a Lake Wazee to complete the training
